What does the Amethyst Pickaxe do on DonutSMP?

It is a server-custom pickaxe that mines dramatically faster than a maxed netherite pickaxe. Players use it mainly for base hunting – breaking into claims, vaults and tunnels quickly.

It comes as the server issues it; the speed is built into the item rather than coming from Efficiency. Ask on Discord if you need the exact current stats before buying.

About Amethyst Pickaxe

The Amethyst Pickaxe is a DonutSMP-exclusive item – a custom pickaxe that mines far faster than any vanilla tool. It is the base hunter's weapon of choice: tunneling through walls, stripping obsidian vaults and digging out hidden stashes in a fraction of the time a netherite pickaxe needs. We sell it for $4.79.

Because it is a server custom item it cannot be crafted and only enters the economy through limited in-game sources, which is why it carries a 'Rare' tag here and a steep price in coins on the player market. Many buyers pair it with an elytra and totems – which is exactly what the Basehunter Bundle does.
