Why no Mending on the god bow?

Because Infinity and Mending are mutually exclusive. We chose Infinity so you never run out of arrows; Unbreaking III gives the bow a long life, and at $0.89 a replacement is cheap.

Does Infinity work with tipped arrows?

No – Infinity only applies to regular arrows. Keep a few tipped arrows in your inventory if you want them.

About God Bow

A fully enchanted bow for $0.89: Power V for maximum arrow damage, Punch II to knock attackers off ledges and out of range, Flame to set them burning, Infinity so a single arrow lasts forever and Unbreaking III for durability. There is no Mending – Infinity and Mending do not stack – which is the standard trade-off on a god bow.

On DonutSMP a bow is how you open a fight, finish a runner or keep a mace user at distance. Punch II is especially nasty near cliffs and in the End. Base hunters also use it to clear mobs from range before landing with an elytra.
